Little Farmers day 1.

For the next four Fridays, Henry will go to "Little Farmers" at a farm close by. The sessions are aimed at encouraging pre-school children to learn a little more about farms and involve them in looking after the animals. Today Henry fed the chickens some corn and also threaded some bread, lettuce, grapes and peppers onto a string for the chickens to feed from. We collected some eggs (which we took home for dippy eggs) and looked at all the other farm animals before I enjoyed a cup of tea and Henry had a story. It was an enjoyable two hours but to say we got muddy would be an understatement!
