M attended a seminar run jointly by Oxford and Cambridge unis. If he’s going to apply there’s a whole different process to understand, additional exams and all the decisions need to be a bit earlier than usual.

It’s hard to gauge how interested he actually is. He’s allergic to expressive enthusiasm.
