For Emilie

I've had this candle burning all day today, a brand new candle for a little baby girl called Emilie.

Her parents Leonie & Jaco have asked people in church to light a candle today and pray for Emilie as she has surgery on her tiny one week old body to fix a hole in her heart. Harrowing by any means, but so much more difficult for a tiny little baby.  We hope and pray that it all goes well.   If you are a praying person, please would you remember little Emilie and her parents Leonie and Jaco.

P.S. On a very personal note, today I have reached the weight goal I'd set myself to get to from November last year.  To say I'm thrilled would be a major understatement.  Getting ready to turn 50!!!! :).
