Panto, pie and a pint!!

every year we go to Oran Mor in Glasgow for Panto, Pie and Pint, a festive spin off of the very successful play,pie and pint that runs each lunchtime for about an hour. The panto - this year Aladdin and wee Jeannie - is written and performed by David MacLennan and Dave Anderson and is a mad hour of particularly Scottish and usually political humour. These two ran the Wildcat Theatre Company in the 1980's and as my girls grew up we went every year to their pantos until sadly the company closed down. They are very active in the Scottish artistic scene and seem to have been on the go forever!!

busy day and am only getting this done at 11.15pm. everyone else has gone to bed. Haircut this morning, then collected Iain and off to town. back to Sally's flat for tea and cakes then dropped Iain off at the Millennium Hotel in town for the bowling club's Xmas night out. Sally and her boyfriend Neil came back with us for dinner and presents, as Sally is going to Neil's family for Xmas. dishwasher on, and trying to do a bit of catching up. sorry if I don't manage too many comments, will try and catch up.
