Euphorbia!

Next job on the boat was given a casing. Casing the job - people still say that don’t they? It’s the bilge pump that seems to be less than effective - unfortunately access to it is totally blocked by the calorifier. Four weeks till lift in.... 
Invited up to the daughter’s to look at the place now the floors have been sanded and the fireplace insert removed. Having dispensed fatherly advice, a small delicate matter is raised - they’re away this week and a cat needs looked after. As long as I don’t have to empty that boaking tray. 
Back to do some gardening! First time for ages, and what a joy it is. Nice soft soil, and up come the ground elder rhizomes with ease. They may be back of course.
And the other big news - the 'Glasto roster' is announced; the SK is delighted as every mother’s son, Brandon Flowers, will be twirling away on stage. I’ll need to give her strict instructions to stay cool and age appropriate and not try and pogo or something. And for the older gentleman (me) - Cat Power!
