The Eagle Tree

Skagit Valley has a unique tree that has housed a very large nest over the years and because it's next to a slough that fills up from the bay with fish, it creates a great nesting and hunting place to live. Today I watched an eagle bring home some food (along with some grass trimmings during the catch) for the family and after dropping it off, the other eagle jumped out of the nest for a break. We are finally in the 50's and 60's so hopefully spring has arrived!
