Day 15: outside

We posted our letters to Father Christmas today. The girls also this their 'decorate your lunchbox' work for Monday. Hopefully they'll finish off tomorrow but they're looking great. E really throws herself into things like that. She never wants any help and has a clear vision of what she wants to achieve and by Christ, she normally creates something better that I could've.

Today marked 7 days in our house. 7 days, no dummies, no thumb sucking... Except for M who cheated like a mare throughout the week. ;-). Must be hard when you have a habit that bad but I'm totally thrilled with the achievements the other 2 have made. Never had to go through anything like this before. E's always sucked her thumb. M got to 3 and ditched her dummies for her thumb also. So this is the first time we've risked household harmony.

Been sewing again this evening while watching a Michael Jackson documentary. It still amazes me we no longer have that amazing talent on our planet. Yet again another person who credits their skills to a calling from god. Much like bob Marley. Got me thinking about whether a strong faith creates people who will go all out to reach their goals, not accept rejection and have a self belief that spurs them on regardless of what happens around them.

Now watching kill bill. I remember watching this at the cinema the day before going in to hospital to be induced with my first child. It was a great distraction. Last night of freedom for a while. How things change. The film I saw while overdue with my third child was Shrek the third!
