Granary Square fountains

Happy Friday!

The Kings Cross office was back to full strength after everyone being away at the London Book Fair on Wednesday. I had good cat blethers with the assistant editor and enjoyed meeting a designer who usually works on days I'm not there. Her dad is from Inverness, so we share a Highland connection.

Lunch was spent with Nicky chatting about Silicon Valley and Korean soap operas.

I stocked up on more jam and clotted cream to deal with the scone 'surplus' from J's tea party. There will be no scones at home very soon. En route to the train I stopped to admire the fountains in Granary Square.

Fred had been home all day without a walk so we stretched our legs around West Norwood and ended up seeing Captain Marvel at the local cinema. It was so much fun, especially the ginger cat. We will be watching Juno closely from now on. The film soundtrack was wonderful – all the music I listened to in the 90s (which feels like yesterday!)
