Relaxed Sunday morning. Then trip to Portobello with friends for a walk and lovely cake. Our friends had to catch up with their kids. Rowan and I stayed on to go to our MP Tommy Sheppard's update on Scotland and the Brexit Crisis with Kirsty Hughes and Kirsty Haigh. We didn't learn anything new really. It was good to be among a decent crowd (200 or so). I still can't see how either the government or the opposition can resolve this impasse when they are too busy positioning themselves and not talking to each other to reach a compromise. And so it rumbles on while there are far more important things to deal with...
