Cervinia - Day 1

Well, you couldn't really ask for a better first day. Sunny, warm, not much wind, except at the top of the mountain. We skied, and skied, and skied some more.  Towards the end of our day on the slopes the snow turned very heavy and wet. So the final 3 kms were hard work, especially with very tired legs and a lot of other people, with very different skiing styles and speeds, also trying to get down the same slopes.
But we made it so all is well.
