The Hobblers do the Shamrock Shuffle

St Patrick's Day saw the Hobblers assembled at the cricket field to take part in the Shamrock Shuffle in aid of Manorlands Hospice.  Most of us were doing the 5k course but machines Emma and Nichola were doing two circuits!  The weather smiled on us this year but, due to the heavy rainfall, the course was pretty muddy and the path out of the field was a stream.

This was to be the first big test of whether my knee would stand up so I took no chances and taped both knees.  As it turned out, I managed to keep going without pain or nasty crunching so we'll see what they are like in the morning.

After the run was over we headed off home for hot showers before assembling at our house for much convivial food and drink.  Thank you Hobblers for another great social day!
