My mother and I went to St. James's Park in the early afternoon; we had sunshine and hail, and spent time with the friendly little nēnē (which was begging for food, but rejected the Oreos offered by tourists...) and watched the Ross's goose family splashing, preening, and flapping. Always uplifting to get near the Ross'sling and its kin...
The youngest pelican flew over at one point, so I've included a couple of extras.
