Spinning class

Today was my first beginners spinning workshop. I had been a bit worried about teaching it as learning to spin is a very hard thing to do as your feet have to treadle while your hands are organising the fibre.
My three students got there in the end and overcame many obstacles. They all left with big smiles on their faces whilst clutching their skeins of yarn.

It's been a really good day and I'm looking forward to doing more workshops in spinning and weaving next year.
Rather tired tonight so relaxing watching Strictly and Dr Who whilst consuming alcohol and chocolate.
