A lovely dinner in Oban at Piazza with the ladies from the book group. Then we went to the cinema to see "Dirt road to Layfayette" which was a treat. Written by James Kelman" a glaswegian writer and a favourite of mine.
The film is not actually released yet and has only been shown once before at the Edinburgh fringe therefore the writer and the film director were at the showing and answered questions at the end. We also had time to speak to them in the foyer which was interesting and gave me an insight in the problems of making a film on a very small budget. They had lots of funny stories.
