Aftermath

It was my day off today and as they say what a difference a day makes :-)
Last night was very stormy and when I looked out of our bedroom window today the sea was still looking very stormy.
The day however was lovely and bright and after being in Dundee this morning we went a walk down to Westhaven to see what damage had been done with the storm surges of yesterday.
The water had come very close into the gardens of the houses that line the beach and the dune grass was looking very flat but having checked out details of some of the damage done further North I think we escaped quite lightly.
