This is one of the many dried fruit and nut stalls in the capital's bazaar. It's such a fun place to look around.

Yesterday was the 31st anniversary of when Sadam gassed the kurds in Halabja killing 5000 outright. All the major road junctions were blocked off by police as we sat for a full 5 minutes listening to the city's sirens wailing and thinking about that horrific event. I find it interesting how they do a 5 minute 'silence' here rather than the one minute we're more used to in the West.
