On The Road To Skye

We set off this morning from Fife in heavy snow, not even sure if we would reach the motorway.
Driving during a snowfall put a bit of stress on the journey, (also cancelling out some of the spectacular scenery on the way), but eventually we reached Eilan Donan and then our hotel on Skye.
Weather is dreich but at least the roads are safe for driving.

My wife and I watched the England V Scotland match in a pub in Portree and there was much rejoicing :-)
