It Begins.

Since I’ve been volunteering at Longshaw, we’ve had a new car park and more recently, a new Welcome Building and Ranger Base, but the next stage of the site development is a large new visitor centre / cafe / shop to cater for the increasing numbers of visitors. The first step which has now begun is a new electricity substation. Some rickety old garages and the Mess Room have been demolished to make way for it.
As I anticipated, it was a very quiet day probably because of the horrible weather.
