This beauty is already starting to lose its petals. It's in the little garden in front of the Collège de France. You can see the back of the bust of Ronsard in the photo.

I crossed a few things off my to-do list today and ran some errands in the neighbourhood. Very quiet.

LATE EDIT: I'm feeling guilty about how oblivious this post is to the violence that occurred here today in act XVIII of the gilets jaunes demonstrations. I'm fairly far from the Champs Elysées and living in a bit of a bubble, I'm afraid. It's been an awful week around the world. The thousands of young people I saw heading to march here on Friday give me hope.
