More Baking....!!!

Just simple stuff today.....Bread & Butter Pudding and a Banana & Date cake...using up ..a sourdough loaf and overripe bananas...!
Won’t upset our ‘giving up’ sweet things for Lent...anyway I think there is a bit of a dispensation for St. Patrick’s Day!!!
I’ve still managed to eat NO chocolate.....!

Nice weekend so far, out and about the shops today with my hubby.....very bad tinnitus session yesterday...even went as far as sitting into my car but I couldn’t drive so had to finish the weekly shop today!!
Should have an interesting Blip today as there were children performing Irish dancing at our shopping center but right alongside was a reptile show!!!!! Now what, I ask you do those two things have to do with each other????
And on St Patrick’s weekend.....I thought he banished all them from our shores all those centuries ago......!
Just as well I didn’t know on the way in or I wouldn’t have stayed to do my shopping...!!!!!
Miserable wet day here today clearing to showers in the afternoon and it’s getting very cold...won’t be a good day tomorrow for the short skirted Irish dancers marching in the parades..!t
