Safe

It has been a wild day out - lots of wind and rain.  This little nest, carefully positioned in the hedgerow, was safe from the gusts.  Merlin and I got more windswept and wet as we walked to my allotment to check if all was well.  The shallots are just starting to show a few green shoots and the radishes and salad leaves I sowed several weeks back have started to grow.  Merlin sat patiently as I gathered together a few things which had been blow away in the wind.  Then we wound our way home to get into the shelter.  Andy some how managed to play some golf this afternoon - it was the last of his group lessons today.  Tomorrow looks calmer and sunny.
