Swiss army open day

Our eldest son is doing his Swiss National Service at the moment in Thun and today they had an open day. It was wonderful to have a taste of his life in the army. It is compulsory for all young men to do 18 continuous weeks followed by 3 weeks a year. It is still optional for young women!
