Bar-Tailed Godwit

In Yarmouth I often see Black-Tauled Godwits, but have never seen their cousin the Bar-Tailed Godwit. I knew they were on the Isle of Wight, but have never found them before. This afternoon I decided to take Daisy to Shalfleet Quay, as it is a fairly clean walk and quiet sheltered. I spied lots of Godwits on the mud flats of the river and it wasn't until I got home and examined the pictures that I realised they were the Bar-Tailed Godwits. Lucky me. Oh yeah there is a Black-tailed Godwit pretending it's a bar-tail in the 2nd extra.
