A wild and wet morning and just a dreary, damp sort of afternoon. A day to be inside:

Half of the Women’s Prize for Fiction Longlist
A new jigsaw
A few more mice on their way.
Some photographs processed and organised.
Some writing done.

And I am cooking tonight – Gordon seems to be elsewhere and has abandoned the kitchen.


Just a thought
If you have the leader of one country shouting ‘Build a Wall and Keep Those Criminals Out’ at every opportunity, and you have the leader of another country forever repeating a mantra of ‘Taking Control of Our Borders’ (she who was also responsible for the “Go Home’ messages), is it any wonder that the Far-Right all over the world feel vindicated and some insane individuals take matters into their own hands. Just a thought.
