Penrith Castle

Not quite my castle in the sky but potential for a drawbridge. Taken on my way to pick the car up from its service at the garage and working in Penrith today so a welcome rare day of no travel. Very glad to see the back of this week and a desperately sad day to end on in the news.

I fell asleep as soon as I got home again this evening but thankfully the events of the last week or so have settled and my first instinct to make an immediate stand seems to have been the right thing to hold fast to in spite of the very rough bruising passage that ensued. It has been a relief and gratifying to have people that I love and respect tell me they admire how I handled it.
