golden hedgerow

Beautiful day when the wind dropped from tornado to tempest!  this forsythia hedge is looking lovely against the blue sky.  Treated myself to an early birthday present -a  pink hawthorne "Paul's Scarlet" which I planted in my garden this morning, but so far it just looks like a stick,  so not yet blip material :-))
