Bus Ride

Apologies all. I have been out of circulation due to gremlins in the PC. On Wednesday evening, for no apparent reason, I suffered from the great blue wall of death. The screen went blue with a message to say that a serious issue had arisen and would I like to restart, or diagnose the problem. Well neither option worked so off I went to the third option which was to reset the machine and reinstall Windows 10. This is getting to be a silly thing. It has now happened twice.... on two different computers, with no input of my own. As far as I can see it is caused by clandestine updates which Microsoft completes without ever asking if you would like them or not. 
Anyway a complete reinstall was the only option and lo and behold, it worked because I am posting this from the same computer a day late. The big issue is that in doing a reinstall ALL the loaded programmes like Photoshop, Word and all, simply vanish. At least one's own files are retained but it has meant that I have had to re do everything including all my internet bookmarks, some of which I can't remember so they are missing until I suddenly need to get on to some site or other and have to look for it the long winded way.
Last night I took some time off and went to the camera club, which took my mind off the worst of it. The blip photo was shot as we trundled along on the snow covered roads. It was actually snowing at the time of the shot.
Posting this Thursday back blip on Friday night. I have been working on the problems all day and fingers crossed, all seems to be well at last. Today's blip will be posted some time tomorrow. We will be away at a camera fair all day so apart from today's blip you wont see me until Sunday I guess. Great fun these electronic marvels!
