Christmas snapshots.
I have enjoyed yet more Christmas shopping, this morning in Blackburn with Maria, and this afternoon with Paul in Preston.
The only problem was, I was not prepared for the increase in temperature and was still dressed in boots, double socks , a fleece and hat.
We have gone from several days of mimus 4 to 7 degrees and I soon carried the fleece and hat, and hand warmers!
The train Maria and her friend Heather had intended to travel on to Preston and buy a Duo ticket, was cancelled due to rail staff shortages.
They came home quite disappointed until Paul suggested we drive to Preston, drop the girls in town and we could go to Toys R Us and look for a Christmas present for our Grandsons.
We have already bought Corey and Tyler some new Winter clothes, but we bought them a Hobbit board game.
They are surprisingly avid games players.
We also visited the Oxfam Bookshop near County Hall, as it is packed with well priced treasureable books.
Heather and Maria bought all the presents and secret Santas they needed.
I had not taken the camera on either shopping trip so my blip today is a selection of local Christmas lights and shop window displays.
