Windswept Kestrel

The wind was whistling across the park  this morning - it was as much as I could do to keep on my feet while taking photos of my favourite little Kestrel. She was getting blown about a bit herself despite being in her little home.

The heinous attack of those poor people in New Zealand is beyond belief. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and all New Zealanders . One of our Blippers, Jillian lives in Christchurch. Jillian was also affected by the dreadful earthquake in Christchurch in 2011.
