Out of Season

Some people will tell you that there's nothing as gloomy as a seaside town out of season. I don't agree, I think they evoke a special kind of atmosphere.

There's been a lot going on today. We got a couple of new gigs in the diary and one of them is quite high profile. We performed at Teignmouth Carnival last year and went down very well. They said they'd have us back this year on the big stage outside and that's one that came through today. It looks like we'll be opening the music on the Saturday afternoon. Anyway, the band whatsapp has been pinging all day as we check that all 13 of us can do it. I'm always amazed when we can, What sad lives we must all lead!
