Remembering Di

We have been to a most fitting graveside, woodland burial today for our friend of almost 50 years. Before marriage and families, as two couples we spent lots of time socialising and camping holidays together.
We set off quite early to get to the cemetery this morning, good job, we hit two road closures and had to find alternative routes.
On the way home we were held up with an accident on the A66, so did a via over Honister pass, which gave me the chance to stop off at Crummock and take this picture looking over towards the cottage where we all spent many happy weekends together in the early 70's.
