Storm Damage

The wind is s still roaring around here, though its suddenly mild and sunny.
This hyacinth I must have dug a hole for and hoped several years ago. It really needed staking so the wind has flattened it.

I swam today happily and awarded myself a cake day : wonderful sticky flapjack full of raisins and nuts --- yummy.

I recently watched the film Disobedience very loosely adapted from Naomi Alderman's book of the same name. Our wonderful library reserved it for me. I can thoroughly recommend it. Splendid writing.
