Adrift

Despite the mud, I managed to push my bike along the Thames Path today. As you can see - the after-effects of the flooding are still evident.

It was an interesting cycle into town as they have emptied Abingdon Lock. If anyone knows why the bottom is now full of immersed bags of sand please tell!

When I finally got into town it suddenly got very dark and wet on Bridge Street so I didn't hang around for long! I wanted to get a turkey in Waitrose but there weren't any that were big enough so I just got a few items and cycled back home.
