The favourite bridge at sunset
An early start to find that the fire in the wood burning stove could be salvaged, always a bonus. After breakfast I jumped on the bike as the weather was positively balmy i.e above freezing and no black ice.
And then it was off with the girls to Gosford House estate, where we bumped into Toots, had a lovely walk and I took dozens of rubbish photos - including some of a white wolf on the other side of one of the lakes (a lurcher as it transpired).
Fortunately, just as the sun was setting, we found ourselves on the road to Gullane with the highest tide I've seen in a while and the blip took itself, especially with Eve wandering across it. Ruby stayed in the car listening to Capital Radio.
Joe has a pal coming over tonight and spicy sausage pasta has been requested so I'd better get on with it.
