A Good Day
I went with my daughter to visit Dad this morning.
What a change from the last few times I have been in to see him.
He was wide awake and in great form.
He recognised us both straight away and had geat smiles for us.
Seemingly he was sitting singing when the staff went to dress him this morning.
In fact - he was so good we took him out for a coffee and muffin.
What a mess he made with the muffin (it was very crumbly) but I will forgive him that.
This afternoon I went out to try and photograph the 5 Sisters.
They are a nightmare to shoot because of industrial works getting in the way.
The sky was also not helping.
Still - it has given me ideas for a better day.
My main blip is the Deer Park roundabout.
It is normally seen like this but I had a walk all round it to get a couple of new angles.
Getting onto the island has to be done carefully .............. it is damned busy.
When the sky is better I will shoot some of the other roundabouts with sculptures on them
