Zone layout

A schematic of the zone layout I’ve come up with for the lightning effects (see yesterday’s blip). Tomorrow I’ll be at home and my goal is to make this work. I’ve got the basic software for one ledstrip working and now it’s a matter of scaling up to multiple led strips. I don’t have to go to school because all the teachers will be on strike so the school is closed. That should give me time enough to do finish the prototype.

The idea is, that the lightning comes from a certain direction, meaning only the LEDs in a specific zone will fire. Of course there’s also a zone that covers all the LEDs. Should be fun creating this and also fun to look at when everything is up and running!
