Fowl Day

Grasses are alive
Teeming with lots of fowl things
Soon to be babies!

Saw woodducks galore, some teals, one lone heron in several poses, a cormorant staring from out on a stick and mallards chased off by the heron now claiming a stump!

     Weather cool and overcast early, but seems to be lifting a bit and should warm up by afternoon.  I've had early am apt. across the fresh waters of Lake Washington so afterwards I stop by the arboretum duck pond.   Usually a good spot to see water fowl:)
