I had a fabulous walk this afternoon with D. It was another sparkling, sunshine and cloud day ( the last for a few days going by the forecast) and we managed all our daily steps and more. When we turned to walk back we saw a flock of birds waddling their way down to the shoreline ....up close they proved to be lovely red brown and grey ducks with this stripe. Once home I identified them as Widgeon....don’t remember seeing them before.
