AT194 - Abstract

The theme for Abstract Thursday this week is  'abstract'  which is an opportunity to explore  what abstract means to the constributor. 

In my case I immediately thought of the little Greek sculpture I have titled 'devotion' which is certainly an abstract.  It clearly has two faces but they are elongated and fused together.  Not reality, but using shape and form as a representation.  

But for an abstract photograph I have introduced further abstract elements such as colour, shape, texture and distortion to add to the abstraction, but have still left a suggestion of  the original subject.  Hope that makes sense!
