Car paperwork
This week's Tuesday taxi duty.... helping mom get the car paperwork.
In order to get paid out by the insurance company, we need the original registration document for the car.
After banking at the mall and paying the municipality bill, we began the quest.
We started at the motor license department.
This was the wrong place, but I did manage to sneak a shot of a metro officer doing his paperwork.
We proceeded to "the right" place.... the municipal offices. I sent Mom in, unaccompanied, thinking the fact that she was an "old lady", might help.
NO SUCH LUCK !
She was away for ages and was required to walk up and down, numerous flights of stairs, deep in the belly of the building. Eish !
Any how... she paid the fee and got a receipt - the expected date of delivery, 21 days from now.
Not 7 days as advertised on the website.
I am crossing my fingers. We are looking for a piece of paper that is nearly 35 years old.
PS. I had to laugh. Mom complained to Barbara about the treatment, Barbara's retort. My Mom should stop dying her hair and get a walking stick, if she wants to be treated like an old lady. I laughed and laughed. She is probably right, few people would guess, at a glance, she is 87 years old. Of course, Mom is not about to follow that piece of advice !
