Forsythia

I just spotted it coming up amongst the daffys. I thought it was dead, but after a year off, it’s peeping through. From a plant originally at my childhood home, that Mum gave me a cutting from about 40 years ago. I brought a cutting with me and it has survived!

A long day at work, followed by a long journey home as operation stack came into force because of the weather. No ferries running across the channel meant the lorries had to park on the M20!
