I remember the garden in our family home had dozens and dozens of these little grape hyacinths .... they sprang up everywhere even in among the crazy paving slabs.

This little group was growing in a rather wild area on the towpath of The Forth and Clyde Canal.

We began our in the sunshine but as we started walking back to the car the rain started. Fortunately we were walking into the rain ..... thighs and shins were soaked but our behinds were quite dry so sitting in the car for the journey home was not too unpleasant!
