WidWed - In the Locality

A day of sunshine and rain has meant grabbing a shot when I could. This stretch of the river Calder is a relatively short distance from the nature reserve I visit so often and runs straight through the town.  I always think it's  strange to see these small houses so close to the town centre and close to the water too.  During the severe flooding just a few years back many of them seemed to have irreparable damage and I thought we might see them all disappear - however the community there is thriving once again and the homes look good for many years to come.
