Cover your back

So today I was well enough to collect my carte de séjour, a 'cover my back' action just in the 6 months before I get my full citizenship and Identity card. On Wednesdays the Préfecture only allow British collecting their Cartes dear Séjour and asylum seekers. The difference between these two peoples is quite a shock. The British act as if they've won the lottery of course and I got the impression there was soon to be a rendition of the Hokey Cokey.
