Blossom

Went to Saintes this morning to ‘animate’ (not allowed to say teach) English Conversation Class (Level 4) in the Hotel de Ville. Took a projector and some DVDs of Jeeves and Wooster, plus Laurel & Hardy to show and discuss afterwards. My class comprises a number of retired ladies, plus one retired gentleman, who are determined to stay mentally sharp by keeping up their language skills. They are impressive, with my Doyenne (the senior lady) being 85. They all do very well. The trees along the road nearby are covered in cherry blossom. Spirit lifting stuff when the weather seems so changeable at the moment.
