Rock and rolled the night away...

The wind picked up all evening, and by 11pm, the van , which was sideways on to the wind was rocking fairly well! A quick check on the weather site , advising that the storm was at its worst at 1am confirmed that we needed to more not only to a more sheltered part of the site but park with the front of the van into the wind. Luckily we were the only ones in the front field, and so at midnight we disconnected the electric and moved.
Still we were bashed and beaten up, and yet to get to sleep, we had breakfast at 3am...(.out of boredom !) we both remember checking the time, after 4...and must have eventually dropped off till 7am. Fortunately no damage done....and will I be out and about next March in the winds and rain? of course, as Cornwall out of season, with the rough seas, the low sun, and the skies are just perfect.
