Boys and their toys on Victoria Lake

This morning we had a couple of hours to kill before heading to the airport for our flight to Sydney. We walked across Hagley Park towards the city, and on the way we passed the Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailing their yachts on Victoria Lake. It seemed a very pleasant way of spending a sunny morning. The boats were all sailing round a course on the lake marked by orange buoys, and were eagerly followed by their owners round the edge of the lake wielding their remote control units.
