Mosaic

Maddie slept really well last night. The hospital drugs were strong and kept her pain free.This morning she woke up really sore and pretty miserable. Her little eyes are blood shot, and at first she was oblivious to this until she went to the bathroom to brush her hair, and she came crying into me saying her eyes were all red. Today was a very low key day plenty of movies, and colouring in. We made ginger bread men as well.

By midday Maddie was feeling a little better, I think the panadol and nurafen had kicked in, and she wanted to do something. I always have something artsy tucked away to entertain little girls, on days that are not so nice. I pulled out butterfly mosaic they loved this. Maddie carefully planned how hers would look, laying all the tiles out neatly in the colours and shapes she wanted. Bailee took a more do it and see what happens approach. They both turned out awesome. It also kept they entertained for a few hours.
