Wicker Pigs
I've been wondering why there are wicker pigs on Walls Roundabout in Gloucester. This roundabout was well known for it's rabbit population but we havent seen any there for a couple of years, not sure what happened to them.
I have found out about the pigs though, and it is to celebrate the protected status of the Gloucester Old Spot pig, in the same way as Melton Mowbray pork pies and Cornish Pasty have this recognition of their origins.

This is what the wicker rabbits looked like in 2012.
