This was...

...ominous. Out of service train sitting at Platform 2 and several train personnel on the platform!

Sure enough it was broken and my train was cancelled...even though I was headed for Platform 3.

I suspect this one was supposed to make it to Dunblane then come back so that explains the 09:07 cancellation.

Not sure then why they cancelled the 09:37 and at 09:23 direct folk going to Edinburgh to catch the 09:23 to Glasgow and change at Croy!

Made that 09:23 and then a 35 minute wait at Croy ensued.

Eventually made the office at 11h00. At least I was on time for the 11:30 meeting I had in the diary.

Grateful that the journey home this evening wasn’t as eventful or long!
